Anna Gudge EBL Systems Administrator anna@ecats.co.uk • Open and Women Teams Systems for the Open and Women Teams have to be registered with the EBL Systems Administrator, Mrs. Anna Gudge by 10 July 2006. • Senior Teams The permitted systems are described in the 2006 European Championships Systems Regulations. Advance registration of systems is not required for the Senior series. Two copies of the Convention Card must be handed to the person in charge of the Systems Desk at least two hours before the start of the Championship. Each pair must have two copies of the Convention Cards at the table. One copy must be handed to each opponent at the beginning of each round. In accordance with a decision by the EBL Executive Committee, matches between teams can be skipped in case there are no diplomatic relations between the two countries; in all other cases, matches must be played. The Championship Chairman will announce, at the Captains' meeting, if there is such situation; if so, he will explain how the match(es) will be scored.

The organizers need to know in advance if and how many teams need scorers at the tables. Accordingly, NBOs are requested to indicate whether they need scorers or not at the time of delegation names' submission.

During the Championships it will be impossible to arrange for scorers. The cost of the scorer’s service is €30 per match and scorers have to be booked for all matches.
